Shaped by some of the longest-running book series on the market, with new series on emerging topics constantly in development, our carefully curated history list makes for a broad and diverse eBook collection. Spanning ancient to contemporary times, the collection is unique in its breadth and depth, providing unrivalled coverage with a truly global outlook. In recent years we have made a concerted effort to expand beyond its traditional foci of Europe and North America to other parts of the world, such as Asia and Latin America.

It is from this list that our renowned compendium, the Encyclopedia of Global Archaeology, was born. Floor Oosting is Editorial Director for Springer’s global Humanities list, comprising philosophy, logic, linguistics and archeology. She has been working in Publishing for more than 25 years and is based in Dordrecht, the Netherlands.
